How to Log In to cPanel
cPanel is the control panel for your EconomicalHost hosting account — every email account, file, database and domain setting lives there. Here are the three ways to reach it.
Step-by-step
- Use the direct URL. Open your browser and go to https://yourdomain.com:2083 (replace yourdomain.com with your own domain). The :2083 port is the secure cPanel port.
- Or use the shortcut. https://yourdomain.com/cpanel redirects to the same login page on most setups.
- Or use your welcome email. Your EconomicalHost welcome email contains the exact cPanel URL, username and initial password — search your inbox for "Economicalhost".
- Enter your cPanel username and password. These are different from your email account passwords. Type them exactly — passwords are case-sensitive.
- Click Log in. You will land on the cPanel dashboard (Jupiter theme), with tools grouped under Email, Files, Domains, Databases, Metrics, Security and Software.
- If your domain is brand new, DNS may not have propagated yet. Use the server URL from your welcome email instead (it works immediately).
💡 Good to know
- Bookmark the login URL once you are in — it never changes.
- Forgotten your password? Contact EconomicalHost support (011-46563177) for a reset; we verify the registered contact email before resetting.
- Never share cPanel credentials. Create separate FTP accounts for developers instead.
