How to Create an Email Signature in Roundcube

A signature adds your name, role and contact details to every message automatically. Roundcube webmail makes one in a minute.

Step-by-step

  1. Log in to webmail at yourdomain.com/webmail and open Roundcube (see accessing webmail).
  2. Open Settings → Identities and click your email identity.
  3. Find the Signature box. Toggle the HTML signature option if you want formatting (bold, links, colour).
  4. Enter your details — name, title, company, phone and website — keeping it concise.
  5. Click Save. New messages will include the signature automatically.
  6. Set it to appear on replies/forwards too via the composing options if desired.

💡 Good to know

  • Keep signatures short — four to six lines is plenty.
  • Each device/app has its own signature; set one in your phone and desktop client too for consistency.
  • Avoid large images in signatures — they bloat every email and can trip spam filters.
