How to Use cPanel Security Advisor
Security Advisor scans your account and gives a prioritised checklist of security improvements — a great periodic health check.
Step-by-step
- Open Security → Security Advisor in cPanel.
- Let it run its scan — it checks SSL, software versions, settings and more.
- Read the colour-coded results — red items are urgent, yellow are recommended, grey are informational.
- Address red items first — common ones include missing SSL (AutoSSL) or 2FA not enabled (2FA).
- Work through yellow items as time allows for extra hardening.
- Re-run periodically — monthly is a good cadence — to keep your account secure as things change.

- Some advisories are server-level and managed by EconomicalHost — focus on the account-level items you control.
- Enabling 2FA and forcing HTTPS clears two of the most common warnings.
